Amapola and 3i Efficientamento Energetico support the Group’s 2025 sustainability reporting for the first time, bringing five companies under a single reporting framework. Using the Basic Module of the VSME Standard, the project combines data collection, content development and editorial design.
Discover the project
Gruppo Rete’s Sustainability Report marks a new step in the Group’s reporting journey. The 2025 edition brings together the parent company, Rete SpA, and four subsidiaries — Economy, Econvenience, Blu Way and Blu Mobility — under the European VSME Standard. The project is supported by Amapola and 3i Efficientamento Energetico through their joint business network, A3i.
Founded in Turin, Gruppo Rete operates in fuel distribution and the development of alternative mobility and energy solutions, with more than 70 fuel stations across Piedmont. Building on previous reporting editions, the project expands the scope to include all five companies. The aim is to provide a consolidated view of ESG performance and structure the information needed to engage effectively with customers, industry partners and financial stakeholders.
Five companies, one shared approach
Amapola coordinated the initial stages of the project and provided ongoing support to the Group, helping establish the reporting process and collect social performance data. 3i led the collection of environmental data, contributing its technical expertise.
The report follows the Basic Module of the VSME Standard (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs), selected as a framework for voluntary reporting that reflects the Group’s needs. This shared structure brings together information from all five companies and provides a consistent foundation for future reporting cycles.
Turning data into a clear, accessible report
Amapola was also responsible for content writing, graphic design and report layout. The information collected was organised into a cohesive publication designed to provide a clear overview of the Group’s activities and ESG performance.
The editorial approach and content layout serve a specific purpose: helping readers navigate the report, understand the data and identify the key priorities shaping the Group’s sustainability journey. In this way, editorial design bridges the gap between data collection and effective communication with different stakeholder groups.
A3i’s integrated expertise supporting sustainability reporting
The project reflects A3i’s integrated approach, bringing together consulting support, technical expertise and communication to deliver a shared outcome. For Gruppo Rete, this collaboration supported every stage of the process, from initial planning through to the preparation of the final report.
