Five companies, one shared sustainability reporting journey
Gruppo Rete operates in fuel distribution and the development of alternative mobility and energy solutions. Founded in Turin, the Group has expanded through acquisitions and investments in its network and now operates approximately 70 fuel stations across Piedmont.
For its 2025 Sustainability Report, the Group expanded its reporting scope, bringing together Rete SpA, the parent company, and its subsidiaries Economy, Econvenience, Blu Way and Blu Mobility in a single consolidated report.
Amapola supported this transition alongside 3i Efficientamento Energetico, through their joint business network, A3i. The project adopted the Basic Module of the VSME Standard (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs) as a framework for voluntary reporting, tailored to the Group’s needs while ensuring continuity with previous editions of the report.
Supporting the process and managing ESG data
Amapola coordinated the initial stages of the project and provided ongoing support to the Group, helping establish the processes and activities needed to develop the report. Its contribution to data collection focused primarily on social indicators, while 3i was responsible for collecting environmental data.
Expanding the reporting scope meant bringing together information from different companies and organising it within a common framework. The collaboration between Amapola and 3i combined sustainability reporting expertise with technical knowledge, providing a comprehensive view of the Group’s ESG performance.
Content development and report design
Amapola also led the report’s content development and layout, turning the collected information into a clear, consistent and accessible publication.
The editorial work connected performance data with descriptions of the Group’s activities, while the layout established a clear information hierarchy and improved the report’s overall readability. The aim was to create a practical, easy-to-navigate resource for customers, industry partners, financial institutions and other stakeholders.
By bringing together methodology, data and communication, the project supported Gruppo Rete throughout the reporting process, from the initial planning stages to the development of its first consolidated Sustainability Report, laying the foundations for a consistent and repeatable approach in future reporting cycles.
