From 3 to 6 November, we will be back in Rimini for Ecomondo, a leading international event for the green and circular economy. Amapola will be the technical partner of the fifth Forum della Buona Comunicazione, focusing on the relationship between urgent environmental action and social cohesion.
Amapola will once again be attending Ecomondo, taking place from 3 to 6 November 2026 at Rimini Expo Centre. Four days of opportunities to connect with businesses, institutions and sustainability professionals, exchange experiences, explore emerging challenges and build new relationships.
One of the key events on our agenda is the fifth Forum della Buona Comunicazione (Good Communication Forum), organised by FERPI and Italian Exhibition Group, with Amapola as technical partner. The event will take place on Wednesday 4 November, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, in Sala Diotallevi 1 – South Hall.
Communication on a tightrope: balancing environmental urgency and social cohesion
“Communication on a Tightrope: Balancing Environmental Urgency and Social Cohesion in the Sustainable Transition” is the theme of the 2026 Forum, which will address one of the most pressing questions in today’s sustainability debate: how can we accelerate the ecological transition while ensuring that people and communities can navigate and sustain the changes it brings?
Climate change, inequality, economic pressures and job insecurity highlight just how closely environmental and social challenges are connected. The decisions needed to address environmental issues have tangible consequences for people’s lives, businesses and local communities.
In this context, communication plays a vital role in building understanding, trust and engagement, creating space for different perspectives and helping stakeholders work towards shared solutions.
The Forum will explore this responsibility: communicating the complexities of the transition, bridging immediate needs and long-term goals, and encouraging dialogue between different interests and priorities.
Speakers and key topics
The event will be introduced and moderated by Sergio Vazzoler, Head of Institutional Relations at Amapola and Coordinator of FERPI’s Sustainability Committee.
The opening talk will be delivered by Serena Giacomin, meteorologist, climatologist and science communicator, followed by Andrea Alemanno from Ipsos Doxa, who will present research relevant to the Forum’s central themes.
The main discussion will bring together Isabella Manfredi, President of Sustainability Makers and Chief Sustainability and Communications Officer at Feralpi Group, and Giampaolo Cerri, Managing Editor at VITA, to explore the connections between the ecological transition, social priorities and communication.
A roundtable on communication practices, language and responsibilities will follow, featuring Emanuele Bompan (Materia Rinnovabile), Rachele Renno (REVOLVE), Marco Merola (GEO Rai 3), Serena Savoca (AssoBirra) and Riccardo Schiavon (Logista).
The Forum will conclude with the Premio Inedita award, dedicated to storytelling about the ecological transition beyond major cities, with Giulia Bassetto (Chora & Will Media) and Laura Magnani (FROM).
A transition built around people and relationships
Amapola’s involvement in the Forum reflects our longstanding commitment to sustainability communication and stakeholder engagement.
Supporting organisations through change also means creating opportunities to listen, understanding stakeholder expectations and laying the foundations for informed, constructive dialogue.
This is the perspective we will bring to Ecomondo: a transition that combines environmental goals, social needs and relationships built on trust, recognising communication as a strategic driver of change.
See you in Rimini! The Amapola team will be attending Ecomondo, meeting clients, partners and industry professionals to exchange ideas, discuss new projects and explore opportunities for collaboration.
