Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Carmagnola, Terra.con specialises in special foundation works, soil and rock consolidation and ground reinforcement. The company delivers projects aimed at mitigating hydrogeological risks, strengthening buildings, constructing foundations and retaining structures for infrastructure and urban development projects.
In 2024, Terra.con became a Benefit Corporation, formally embedding its commitment to operating responsibly, sustainably and transparently towards people, communities, local areas and the environment. In 2025, the company employed 94 people and generated €20.8 million in economic value, up 13% on the previous year.
The 2025 Sustainability Report
The 2025 Sustainability Report marks a methodological step forward in Terra.con’s reporting journey. After previous editions prepared with reference to the GRI Standards, the company adopted the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs – VSME, applying both the Basic and Comprehensive Modules.
Amapola supported Terra.con throughout the entire reporting process, from defining the methodological approach and collecting and validating data to updating the materiality analysis, drafting the content and developing the creative concept, graphic design and final layout.
The transition to VSME made it possible to develop a report that is more closely aligned with the company’s structure and needs, while maintaining continuity with previous editions and making the information more concise, accessible and useful for stakeholder dialogue. The collaboration will continue with reporting for the 2026 financial year.
Support for the EcoVadis assessment
At the same time, Amapola supported Terra.con with the renewal of its EcoVadis assessment, reviewing the status of the company’s rating, selecting and analysing the available documentation, identifying the evidence required and assisting the team in preparing the materials to be uploaded to the platform.
The process resulted in Terra.con being awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal, placing the company among the top 15% of organisations assessed by EcoVadis.
Two complementary activities, driven by the same objective: turning policies, data and actions into practical tools that strengthen ESG management and make the company’s progress visible to external stakeholders.
