For the second year, we are working with CSI Piemonte on its Social and Sustainability Report

Bilancio di sostenibilità 2025 di CSI Piemonte

The report highlights the role of public digital services in supporting the sustainability of public administration and local communities. Amapola supported the Consortium throughout the reporting process, from data analysis and content development to graphic design and layout.

Public digital services can be a tangible driver of sustainability. They do this by making services easier to access, improving the efficiency of public administration, and strengthening the infrastructure, skills and tools available to citizens, public bodies and local communities. This is the perspective at the heart of CSI Piemonte’s 2025 Social and Sustainability Report, one of Italy’s leading public IT companies. The report brings together the Consortium’s activities, results and environmental, social and governance impacts, confirming an increasingly structured approach to sustainability reporting.

For the second year, Amapola supported CSI Piemonte in preparing the Report, working alongside the project team across the different phases: data collection and analysis, narrative structure, copywriting, graphic design and layout.

A report that tells the story of public digital innovation

In 2025, CSI Piemonte served 140 member organisations, confirming its role as a technology partner for public administration.

The Report shows how digital infrastructure, platforms and expertise can contribute to the responsible transformation of the public sector. This means not only technological innovation, but also service quality, accessibility, security, resilience and the ability to generate value for local communities.

Sustainability is part of this framework as an integral element of the Consortium’s strategy, in line with European policies, the principles of the United Nations Global Compact and the goals of the 2030 Agenda.

Amapola’s support: method, data and storytelling

Our work focused on creating a clear, robust and accessible document, able to bring together the complexity of ESG reporting and the need to speak to different audiences.

We supported CSI Piemonte in collecting and organising information, interpreting data and developing a narrative consistent with the Consortium’s identity and role. Particular attention was given to the structure of the content, with the aim of making the document easier to navigate and giving visibility to the most relevant aspects of the sustainability journey.

The project also included a gradual alignment of the reporting framework with the evolution of European standards, with reference to VSME, the voluntary standard for SMEs. It also involved strengthening the engagement of external stakeholders and updating the impact materiality analysis through a dedicated workshop with representatives from internal departments.

Environment, people and governance: key ESG data

The Report provides a detailed overview of CSI Piemonte’s ESG commitment.

On the environmental front, the Consortium confirms that 100% of the electricity it purchases comes from renewable sources. It also records a reduction in emissions compared with the previous year, partly thanks to energy efficiency measures on buildings and technological infrastructure, with a particular focus on data centres.

The social dimension highlights the role of people, skills and training. In 2025, CSI Piemonte had 1,068 employees, 46% of whom were women, and dedicated 3,605 training days to skills development through dedicated programmes and the Digital Campus. The document also describes the Consortium’s work on gender equality, including a score of 92.75 out of 100 in the dedicated certification.

From a governance perspective, the Report explores key issues for an organisation that manages public digital infrastructure and services: control systems, risk management, corruption prevention, cybersecurity and data protection.

A digital and accessible document

Alongside the work on content, Amapola also handled the Report’s graphic design and layout.

The result is a digital PDF document, designed to support readability for the Consortium’s different stakeholders.

For us, reporting also means this: turning complex data, information and processes into clear, readable tools that support dialogue. Because a sustainability report is not just a document that presents results. It is also an opportunity to strengthen awareness, transparency and relationships.
