Amapola at the Salone della CSR e dell’innovazione sociale 2026: dialogue, skills and new generations

Locandina Salone della CSR 2026

From 6 to 8 October, we’ll be back at Bocconi University for the 14th edition of Il Salone della CSR e dell’innovazione sociale, Italy’s leading event dedicated to CSR and social innovation. Our programme includes the fifth edition of Meet the CSR Leaders, three sessions moderated by Sergio Vazzoler, Luca Valpreda and Emilio Conti, as well as the Fair’s video coverage, produced by Amapola.

Three days to meet, exchange ideas and look beyond the usual perspectives. That is the spirit of the 2026 edition of Il Salone della CSR e dell’innovazione sociale — the CSR and Social Innovation Fair — taking place at Bocconi University in Milan from 6 to 8 October.

Once again, Amapola will be there with several opportunities to explore some of the issues at the heart of our work: stakeholder engagement, sustainability careers, the energy transition and the next generation of professionals.

Meet the CSR Leaders returns for its fifth edition

We’ll start with a project that means a lot to us. Meet the CSR Leaders is back for its fifth edition. Launched in 2022 as a joint initiative by Amapola and the CSR and Social Innovation Fair, it has also been organised in partnership with CSRnatives since 2024.

The idea is simple: to create a space for direct, informal conversations between people taking their first steps into the sustainability field and professionals who work in it every day.

Students, recent graduates and young professionals will have the opportunity to meet sustainability leaders from companies, consulting firms, communications organisations and the non-profit sector in 30-minute one-to-one sessions. It is a chance to ask questions, understand which skills really matter, hear about different career paths and start building a professional network.

The 2026 edition marks the initiative’s fifth year. Since it was launched, Meet the CSR Leaders has brought together more than 190 young people and over 60 professionals, for a total of 48 hours of one-to-one career conversations.

Sessions will take place on:
Tuesday 6 October, from 2 pm to 5 pm;
Wednesday 7 October, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm;
Thursday 8 October, from 10 am to 1 pm.

Participation is free, but booking is required.

Three conversations on the changes shaping sustainability

Our involvement in the Fair also extends to its conference programme, with Sergio Vazzoler, Luca Valpreda and Emilio Conti moderating three sessions on very different topics, all connected by a common theme: making sustainability happen requires bringing together skills, people and different perspectives.

Listening to stakeholders: a commitment and a valuable resource

Wednesday 7 October, 2–3 pm | Moderated by Sergio Vazzoler

Listening to stakeholders is about much more than gathering opinions. It is a way to build trust, identify expectations and potential concerns, manage risks more effectively and create shared value.

The session will look at the strategic role of stakeholder relationships at a time when organisations are increasingly expected to engage openly and meaningfully with the people and communities around them.

Careers in sustainability: an evolving job market

Thursday 8 October, 11 am–12 pm | Moderated by Luca Valpreda

What skills are needed to drive the transition? As the sustainability landscape continues to evolve, so do the roles, expertise and capabilities organisations are looking for.

From renewable energy and circular business models to local stakeholder relations and financial advisory, the panel will explore the professional profiles that are emerging to support this transformation.

Towards carbon neutrality: from renewable energy to impact monitoring

Thursday 8 October, 12–1 pm | Moderated by Emilio Conti

Technology, new energy models, sustainable mobility, regeneration and the circular economy: there is no single route to decarbonisation.

This session will explore the tools and solutions available to help companies move towards carbon neutrality, from renewable energy generation to measuring and managing impacts across the value chain.

And you won’t find us only on stage or in meetings. Amapola will also be producing the video coverage of the Fair, so throughout the three days you may well spot us around Bocconi, camera in hand, capturing voices, conversations and highlights from the 2026 edition.

Three days, then, to look at sustainability from different angles, meet people, exchange experiences and keep ideas, questions and expertise moving.

See you at the Fair!
