Amapola supported the company in developing the report’s visual and communication concept. Produced in both Italian and English, the report was complemented by a range of communication materials designed to broaden the reach of its content.
Sustainability is an integral part of Pettenon Cosmetics’ long-term strategy. To communicate the progress made along this journey, the cosmetics company has published a Sustainability Report for the past five years.
The 2025 edition marks an important milestone: the reporting scope has been extended to all three of the company’s production sites, while the report also incorporates the Impact Report, reflecting Pettenon Cosmetics’ status and commitments as a Benefit Corporation.
Amapola supported the company in developing the report’s visual and communication concept, with the aim of presenting its data, initiatives and ESG commitments through a clear, accessible publication aligned with the brand’s identity.
Pettenon Cosmetics’ 2025 Sustainability Report
The new Sustainability Report reflects the continued development of Pettenon Cosmetics’ ESG journey and highlights the links between its sustainability strategy, Benefit Corporation objectives and tangible initiatives.
The report presents the company’s environmental, social and governance commitments, demonstrating how sustainability has become both a strategic driver and an integral part of the way the business operates.
This commitment is expressed through five common-benefit objectives:
- Sustainable Research and Innovation;
- Environmental Protection;
- Gender Diversity and Multiculturalism;
- People Development and Training;
- Community Support.
The challenge was to transform a document containing a wealth of information into an engaging and accessible communication tool capable of reaching a wide range of audiences, including external stakeholders, partners, local communities and employees.
An Institutional, Accessible Design Consistent with the Brand
For the 2025 report, Amapola developed an institutional visual concept aligned with the company’s brand guidelines, while introducing a fresh approach to its overall design.
The creative concept resulted in an elegant, understated and highly readable layout, suitable for digital use and designed to support the report’s narrative. Particular attention was paid to content accessibility, clear visual hierarchies and the effective presentation of data, initiatives and results.
The project covered both the Italian and English editions, ensuring consistency, editorial quality and a strong, recognisable identity in international contexts.
From Reporting to Effective Communication
Alongside the full Sustainability Report, Amapola also developed a range of communication materials designed to share its key highlights more widely.
These included an executive summary in Italian and English, a postcard and an animated infographic. Agile, accessible and visually consistent, these materials were created to make the report’s content easier to understand and to showcase Pettenon Cosmetics’ sustainability projects and Benefit Corporation initiatives to different audiences.
In this way, the report moves beyond its role as a disclosure document to become a platform for sharing commitments, results and future ambitions, strengthening dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders.
