With a profile that combines a business and economics background with a specialization in sustainability reporting, Alessandro strengthens an area that is central to our work.
We are delighted to welcome Alessandro Porro to Amapola as the newest Junior Account in our Reporting team. His arrival further strengthens an area that is becoming increasingly strategic in supporting companies and third-sector organizations on their ESG reporting journeys, where analytical skills, a broad perspective and close attention to content quality must go hand in hand.
Alessandro Porro’s background
Alessandro joins the team led by Giulia Devani, bringing with him a business and economics background together with expertise focused on sustainability. After earning a degree in Business Administration, he chose to deepen his knowledge in this field through a specialized master’s programme, decisively steering his professional path towards ESG reporting.
An initial experience in accounting allowed him to build a solid understanding of financial data analysis, which he now complements with the assessment of environmental and social performance, as well as governance aspects. This cross-disciplinary approach is especially valuable in a field such as sustainability, where numbers, strategy and interpretative skills need to work ever more closely together.
Sustainability reporting today
“Today, sustainability reporting requires professionals who can bring together different levels of expertise: the ability to read data, understand the regulatory context, identify impacts and turn all of this into a clear, robust and useful narrative for organizations,” says Giulia Devani, Head of Reporting at Amapola. “Alessandro’s arrival moves us in exactly this direction: strengthening the team with people who can confidently navigate analysis, method and a broader vision of sustainability.”
A few words about Alessandro
In his role, Alessandro will contribute to reporting projects by supporting the team in analysis and content development.
Outside work, he enjoys spending time in nature and being around animals. He feels deeply connected to his home region of Puglia, while remaining curious and open to discovering new places and new realities—an attitude that says a great deal about the way he approaches both his work and the challenges of the present.
Welcome, Alessandro: we are happy to begin this journey together.
