On 9 April 2026, we will be at Circolo dei lettori in Turin for an event dedicated to Benefit Corporations: a morning of discussion and an afternoon of shared practice focused on identity, impact and communication.
On Thursday, 9 April 2026, we will be taking part in “Benefit Corporations: being one, becoming one, telling the story. A shared journey through identity and social impact”, an event organised by Torino Social Impact at Circolo dei lettori in Turin.
The event is aimed at companies and professionals interested in the Benefit Corporation model and offers a practical opportunity to explore tools, data and first-hand experiences that can help organisations understand what it means to adopt this model or begin the transition towards it.
For us, it is also a valuable chance to reflect on a topic that is especially close to home: the relationship between organisational identity, value creation and the ability to communicate impact credibly and clearly.
A national initiative to support organisations
The event is part of a national information and training programme promoted by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, with the support of Unioncamere and Si.Camera, in collaboration with the CSR and Social Innovation Fair.
Its aim is to support organisations in the process of becoming or transforming into Benefit Corporations, offering useful insights both to those approaching this model for the first time and to those looking to build on a path already under way.
The morning session will include:
-
local data and practices relating to the development of Benefit Corporations
-
tools for measuring impact
-
practical experiences from the Fit4benefit programme
Amapola’s contribution
We will also be part of the programme, with Micol Burighel speaking at 11:40 a.m. during the session “Fit4benefit: training to become a Benefit Corporation”, alongside Emanuela De Sabato of Futura Law Firm SB, Federica Fugiglando of BDFL20 SB and Nadia Lambiase of Mercato Circolare SB.
In the afternoon, Amapola will also take part in the community of practice dedicated to communicating benefit value, together with Rossella Sobrero, in a session centred on a theme we see as essential: how to communicate the benefit dimension in a way that is consistent with an organisation’s identity, the value it creates and the impact it generates.
Being a Benefit Corporation goes beyond legal status
Being a Benefit Corporation is, of course, about legal structure and governance, but it is also about company culture, clarity of purpose and the ability to turn commitments into visible and meaningful practices.
That is why events like this matter. They create space for different perspectives to meet, for tools to be shared and for practical experiences to come to the fore. They also help address a crucial question: how can an organisation bring together who it is, what it does and the way it communicates it?
