La Filippa, a pioneer in sustainable waste management, has published its 2024 Sustainability Report, adopting for the first time the VSME European Standards (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Guidelines for Medium Enterprises) — an innovative framework designed to make sustainability reporting accessible to SMEs, without compromising on accuracy, transparency or credibility.
Since 2008, the facility in Cairo Montenotte (SV) has stood out for its approach rooted in environmental regeneration, land stewardship and community engagement. The report showcases this vision through concrete, easy-to-read content that combines performance data with voices and stories from the people who contribute to the project every day.
The Amapola project
Amapola supported La Filippa throughout the reporting process, from data collection to content development and storytelling, ensuring full alignment with the brand identity designed by Paroledavendere.
A collaborative effort that led to a clear, accessible and engaging report, able to reflect the company’s values and its long-term commitment to a sustainability model rooted in the territory and oriented towards the future.
The decision to use the VSME framework made it possible to structure the report through a modular, proportionate and SME-oriented approach — a reporting model that combines clarity and usability with the expectations of key stakeholders and with the evolving European sustainability landscape.
