Roquette, a story of innovation and sustainability

In 2022, Roquette Italia celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Cassano Spinola plant, one of the most important industrial settlements in the province of Alessandria and the second largest in the world of the French multinational leader in the production of ingredients for the food and pharmaceutical industry.

The anniversary was an opportunity to tell the story of Roquette Italia  a story of innovation and sustainability, of value generated and shared, of constant relationship and dialogue with the territory and community  but also to imagine the Roquette of the future and strengthen relationships with all stakeholders. The company is moving towards sustainable and circular development, which draws inspiration from the fields and contact with the earth and is realized in responsible and cutting-edge production models in each of the markets it serves: food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, industrial and nutraceutical.

60 years of the plant between management visits and Family Day

The event took the form of a two-day event that involved all the people of Roquette Italia in a great celebration. And not only: the first day, in fact, saw an important internal discussion moment with the participation and presence of French management and the recognition of employees with 10, 25 and 35 years of service together with that dedicated to deserving students from local schools. During the following day, the plant opened its doors to employees and families in a real Family Day broken down into various activities, from virtual visits to production departments to gastronomic tastings where you could taste products prepared with Roquette ingredients. All, strictly, from plant proteins, sustainable and healthy.

Amapola supported Roquette Italia in the direction and in the event communication materials. The agency’s consultancy was activated from the event design phase, to continue in internal communication activities and involvement of company people and arrive at the production of communication materials (new dedicated logo and tagline, internal newsletters, flyers, signage) and support in territorial media relations. In particular, the agency produced all the videos dedicated to the plant departments: a storytelling method that reduces distances through the faces, voices and testimonies of the protagonists.

The 60th anniversary event thus became an opportunity to strengthen internal relationships and with the community, to better publicize the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation issues and to involve Roquette people.
