The road to sustainability: Leroy Merlin Italia’s 2023 Sustainability Report
In 2023, Leroy Merlin Italia published its Sustainability Report, choosing the concept of the road to tell its journey of responsibility and care for people, environment and community. The reporting document is closely connected to Leroy Merlin’s new Positive Impact Strategy, structured around five main challenges: community engagement, affirmation of pluralities, decarbonization, circular economy and customer awareness.
The Amapola project
Amapola supported Leroy Merlin Italia, handling the entire creative project, from editing to layout and collaborating closely with the internal sustainability team to present the results and data related to the 2023 financial year in the clearest and most engaging way.
The document is structured to offer multiple reading levels, with data presented in a simple and accessible way through tables and infographics and a linear and consistent layout. The report’s graphics were also designed to be welcoming and empathetic, in order to establish a connection with readers.
Amapola also handled the summary version of the Report, an effective and agile communication tool that multiplies the distribution of the document to a wider audience.
