Voices and faces to tell the social dimension of sustainability
“Without Borders” is the Randstad project that promotes cultural diversity and social inclusion, favoring the integration of foreign professionals residing in Italy into the working world. This project was chosen as an example of Randstad Group’s commitment in the social dimension of sustainability.
To enhance this initiative Amapola conceived and produced a video reportage format that makes the women and men of Randstad Italia, candidates, client companies protagonists. The reportage, through testimonies and interviews, communicates the passion of all those who collaborate on the project and reflects Randstad Italia’s sustainability values and commitments, the same ones present in the Integrated Report.
This concretizes the strategy suggested by Amapola: bringing sustainability to life in becoming, communicating projects through the “ambassadors” who can best tell it. Beyond the traditional annual reporting appointment, these solutions favor a continuous and lasting spread of sustainability culture inside the company and outward.
In autumn 2020, the “Without Borders” project was awarded by UNHCR United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees with the “Welcome. Working for Refugee Integration” logo, the recognition given every year to companies that, in Italy, are committed to favoring the work integration of international protection beneficiaries. UNHCR recognized the value of Randstad Italia’s project which in 2019, in the first six months of the project’s duration, allowed activating 26 training paths that involved 257 candidates, of whom 30 were placed in companies with an internship or work contract.
