Luca Valpreda
Founder and Managing partner
Corporate, institutional, and sustainability communications consultant, with particular experience in integrated communications projects, content management, video storytelling, and event management.
Experience: He trained in the United States at major communications agencies. Upon returning to Italy, he worked first as a freelance journalist and then in Olivetti’s Communications and Image department. In 1989, he founded PDC Produzione di Comunicazione, an Italian-owned public relations agency, which merged with Homina in 2008 to form Homina PDC. Alongside his work at PDC, he held other communications and consulting positions (Technorace; Hansen Worldwide; Voz!, Sport Production Scarl). After his time at PDC, he founded Amapola in 2009.
Distinguishing features: When he’s not working, he tries to keep up with the hyperactivity of his two children (and his wife). His vinyl collection, constantly growing since the 1970s, has reached an unmanageable size.

Sergio Vazzoler
Co-founder, Partner and Director of Public Affairs
Consultant expert in sustainability communication, local community relations management, stakeholder engagement, and environmental communication. Teacher, trainer, and speaker.
Experience: After working at the Red Hot Peppers agency, he joined MR & Associati Comunicazione, a firm specializing in institutional and political communications, becoming a partner in 2005. In 2011, he joined Amapola, making a decisive contribution to the firm’s specialization in sustainability. He is an expert in the water, energy, chemical, agri-food, waste, chemical, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors with a high environmental impact. He is the coordinator of the national commission on Responsible Communication (18th Goal Agenda 2030) of FERPI. He is the editor, together with Stefano Martello, of “The Missing Link. Environmental Communication Tested by the Ecological Transition” (Pacini Editore, 2022) and the previous “White Paper on Environmental Communication” (Pacini Editore, 2020), as well as the author of numerous articles and essays on his fields of expertise.
Distinguishing features: His first graying hair appeared at age 13: a true trademark. Between sudden accelerations and slower rhythms, his style is unmistakably jazz.

Anna Filippucci
Executive account Reporting
Member of the Amapola reporting team, with particular experience in social issues and knowledge of the nonprofit world.
Experience: A graduate in Public and Political Communication, passionate about social and environmental issues, she has worked as a content and report writer, communications project manager, and social media manager for businesses and nonprofits. She has been part of the Amapola reporting team since 2023, where she focuses on sustainability reporting, communication project design and writing, and content curation.
Distinguishing features: When she’s not working, Anna rarely sits still: you can spot her climbing and swinging on colorful fabrics hanging from the ceiling, pedaling, or hiking on mountain trails.

Junior account Reporting
A member of the Amapola reporting team, she has international experience analyzing the socioeconomic impacts of climate change.
Experience: After earning a degree in Literature, then in Environmental Economics and Food Security and Human Development, she specialized in analyzing the socioeconomic impacts of climate change, drawing on an interdisciplinary background in both qualitative and quantitative fields. She gained experience in Spain, Kenya, and the United Kingdom, and collaborated with several United Nations agencies in Rome in the fields of development and agriculture. She recently joined Amapola, where she focuses on sustainability reporting.
Distinguishing features: Passionate about music and travel, in her free time she explores new places and sounds, always seeking inspiration and stimulation.

Daniela Bianchi
Senior consultant
A consultant specializing in institutional relations and advocacy, with expertise in sustainable corporate governance, social impact strategies, strategic context analysis, and complex project management.
Experience: In her professional career, she applies a holistic approach, drawing on extensive experience in various fields. In the financial sector, she has led institutional relations activities, with a particular focus on scenario analysis, strategies, and policies, and has supported reorganization and development processes with an ESG perspective. Within institutions, as a Regional Councilor of Lazio, she has promoted laws on sustainable economic development and culture, led public debate processes, and led participatory processes. In the Third Sector, in senior roles, she has contributed to initiatives with social impact and innovation. She is the Secretary General of FERPI, a university professor, and an author. She has collaborated with Amapola since 2025 on Special Projects in Central and Southern Italy, leveraging her systemic approach.

Irene La Porta
Executive Account Stakeholder Engagement and Local Projects
A member of the Stakeholder Engagement and Local Projects team, she focuses on socio-territorial analysis projects, local relations, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability reporting.
Experience: After a year as an Internal Communication, Events & Sustainability Junior Specialist and six months as a Sustainability Analyst and Reporting Consultant, Irene joined Amapola in 2023 as a Junior Account. She focuses primarily on local environmental communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting projects. Since adolescence, she has dedicated part of her free time to associations, actively contributing to the Rotaract Club of Nicosia, of which she is Treasurer, and the Rotaract Club of Pavia, the International Advertising Association – Italy Chapter, and CSRNatives, of which she is Team Leader of the Training Team.
Distinguishing Features: Determined and curious, she wants to leave her mark on the world by actively contributing to the promotion of a culture of sustainability.
Emilia Blanchetti
Senior consultant DEI and events
Thirty years of experience in sustainability, including consulting, event organization and management, and stakeholder engagement projects. She has particular expertise in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and leads the internal division on this topic.
Experience: Expert in public relations, events, consensus building, and stakeholder engagement. She has collaborated with national and international public and private companies, public administrations, governments, and non-profit organizations. She has developed complex multimedia communication and outreach projects and has extensive experience in fundraising for social and cultural projects. She coordinates the organization of national festivals in the fields of sustainability and responsible communication (Verde e Blu Festival, Women’s Equality Festival).
Distinguishing features: An unbridled passion for writing, resulting in novels, short stories, and essays. Outside of her professional career, she dedicates herself to this, as well as accompanying her two extraordinary daughters into adulthood.
Micol Burighel
Head of Communications and Marketing
An expert in communication and marketing strategies and projects, with particular expertise in sustainability, environmental communication, CSR, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Experience: After studying Modern Literature, she graduated in 2019 with a degree in Journalism and Publishing from the University of Genoa, with a thesis honored for the Pestelli Prize. That same year, she began her professional career in communications agencies. Since 2021, she has been responsible for communications and marketing at Amapola. She is a member of the Impact Council, the body that manages common benefit goals, and Head of Gender Equality. On the topic of environmental communication, she participated in the Decalogue of Environmental Communication (2021), on which she also hosted the eponymous podcast, and in the volume L’anello mancante (Pacini Editore, 2022). She is among the authors of the subsequent collective book Dove i fatti non arriva (2024), also published by Pacini and concluding the trilogy dedicated to environmental communication. She’s a Ferpi member.
Distinguishing features: She loves exploring new places and is a social animal. She has her own rigidities (but works to smooth them out). She believes in the coexistence of differences.
Ilaria Giolo
Junior Sales account
A member of Amapola’s sales team, she brings a solid background in sustainability reporting and the adoption of technological solutions to support corporate compliance.
Experience: After graduating in International Cooperation and studying in Germany, she chose to specialize in Environmental Economics and Policy, embracing the world of sustainability with conviction. During her studies, she was actively involved in volunteer work, collaborating with two student associations dedicated to welcoming young international students in Turin. She consolidated her environmental reporting skills first as an intern as a sustainability consultant, then by entering the commercial world, where she works closely with companies committed to addressing ESG challenges.
Distinguishing features: She loves reading (especially science fiction and travel stories), nature walks, and her cat Zacco. She enjoys trying a bit of everything in life.

Sara Rabellino
Production manager
A professional videographer, certified Audio-Video Production Technician, and expert in shooting, editing, and video design, she serves as Production Manager at Amapola.
Experience: She began shooting video in the theater world. She intensified her video collaborations by working with two professional photographers. During this period, she ranged from ceremonies to festivals and artistic performances, including Lunathica, a street artists’ festival. She is documenting a redevelopment project for the “Barriera di Milano” neighborhood, sponsored by the City of Turin and supervised by artist Cristina Pistoletto. For two years, she collaborated with “Cascina Macondo,” a social promotion association, and with the cultural club “La Scimmia in tasca.” In the summer of 2021, she produced and directed a video documenting the “Torino a Cielo Aperto” festival. In the spring of 2022, she earned her qualification as an Audio-Video Production Technician through Enaip. Since October 2022, Sara has been working continuously with Amapola, where she carries out video design, shooting, and editing.
Distinguishing features: She thinks she’s ironic (confirmation is yet to come). Tall and thoughtful, with her head inevitably in the clouds, in her free time she watches films and volunteers.

Elisa De Bonis
Senior Sales account
A member of the sales team, she handles project management, business development strategies, client management, and events.
Experience: After studying law at the University of Pavia, she chose to venture into new fields, dedicating herself to public relations and communications. Over the years, she has focused on diverse and challenging fields, from museum promotion to prison settings to teaching. From a press office and public relations manager at a theater agency, she joined Amapola in 2020 as a Junior Executive, later becoming an Account Manager in the sales team.
Distinguishing features: She studied modern singing for over 15 years. Her interests, in addition to music, also include art and politics.

Giulia Abbondanza
Junior Account Communication and Sustainability
She provides support in the areas of mapping and territorial analysis, communication and stakeholder engagement, event organization, and writing articles on sustainability topics.
Experience: A graduate in Biological Sciences and Environmental Sciences, with a multidisciplinary background in social and natural sciences. She specializes in natural resource management and climate change mitigation and adaptation, with a particular focus on ESG issues and nature-based solutions (NBS). She has experience in the carbon credit sector, agroecology, and river system management. Always passionate about environmental issues, she recently earned a third degree in Green Innovation & Sustainability Management to explore sustainability issues in the corporate world. She joined Amapola in 2024 as a trainee. She supports public and private companies in mapping and stakeholder analysis, drafting sustainability reports, and in communications, training, and engagement with the organization’s key stakeholders.
Distinguishing features: She enjoys change and learning new things. She’s lived in the Netherlands and Bolivia and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. She says she’ll stay in Italy for a while because the food and climate are better.
Rossana Sparacino
Executive account Public affairs
Member of the Institutional Relations team, a consultant specializing in local relations, event organization, and content management.
Experience: A freelance journalist, she began her career working with the Department of Culture of the Province of Alessandria on the creation of the museum network and the development of its new dedicated website. In subsequent years, she worked in communications in Milan at the Damiani public relations and media office, in Malta as leader of EF study abroad programs, and in Alessandria for the Temporary employment agency. From 2005, for 17 years, she was head of the communications office of Confagricoltura Alessandria and editor of the century-old newspaper, where she also covered trade unionism, the environment, tourism, equal opportunities, training, education, economics, and technology. Since February 1, 2023, she has brought her experience to Amapola as an account executive.
Distinguishing features: Communication makes her heart beat faster. Since Andy became her partner and the stork passed by, her life has been a Tetris (but she has been trained to play it since her adolescence, like a good Gen-X).
Guido Ruffinato
Senior Account Communications and Sustainability
Member of the communications and sustainability team, a consultant specializing in corporate PR, sustainability, innovation, and local relations.
Experience: With a background in the restaurant industry, he has worked as a journalist for free press outlets and communications agencies. He was the Turin correspondent for “La Repubblica,” the Metropoli supplement dedicated to immigration, where he developed a passion for social issues. He writes articles, investigations, and in-depth articles for the newspaper’s national and local print and online editions. He collaborates on the same topics directly with the Rome editorial team. During the same years, he worked with the press office of the city of Venaria Reale (Turin) and was editor-in-chief of the web TV program of the Municipality of Venaria Torinese. He joined Amapola in 2017, where, as an account executive, he expanded his scope to various sectors, from cosmetics to robotics, engineering, and software.
Distinguishing features: Today, he combines his communication work with other amapolers with an insane passion for writing, which he expresses through novels and short stories. As well as a never-ending love for cooking.

Emilio Conti
Team leader Stakeholder engagement and territorial projects
Consultant expert in environmental and CSR issues, developing projects related to environmental management, stakeholder engagement, territorial acceptability, and communication.
Experience: A biologist, he has 30 years of experience in environmental communication projects, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder relationship management. He joined PDC Produzione di Comunicazione as Head of the Environment Division in the late 1990s; from 2002 to 2012, he worked at Allea, an Italian-owned communications company. After this experience, he decided to work as a freelance consultant. He joined Amapola in the fall of 2021. He teaches sustainability and conflict management in several Master’s programs at Milan Polytechnic and Rome. He has solid expertise in the fields of energy production from fossil and renewable sources, oil and gas, waste management, major infrastructure projects, and industry.
Distinguishing features: A lover of nature and the mountains, he enjoys long walks whenever he can to reconnect with himself and rejuvenate his mind.

Elisa Gamba
Senior account Reporting
Member of the reporting team, consultant specializing in sustainability reporting, CSR project communication, content, and project management.
Experience: A freelance journalist, after several years in this profession, she entered the world of public and corporate communications. She was a Communication Specialist for the Organizing Committee of the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics. She then joined the team at DGTmedia (Gruppo In Adv, later Italia Brand Group – Turin), taking on the role of Editorial Unit coordinator two years later. After ten years, she embarked on a new career path as a consultant, supporting the Italian-French company TELT in institutional communications and environmental and sustainability communication projects. In 2020, she joined the communications team at Artissima – Turin International Contemporary Art Fair. She joined Amapola in 2021 as a CSR Specialist.
Distinguishing features: Balanced between a nomadic nature and a desire for stability, she joyfully raises two rebellious daughters and hops between vernissages, yoga classes, the theater, sushi bars, and pajama parties with friends.

Giulia Devani
Team leader Reporting
Consultant trained in sustainability reporting, environmental communication, and CSR, with expertise in communications strategies, reputation management, crisis management, and media relations.
Experience: Her career began in academia, with a PhD in “History and Politics of European Integration.” In 2009, she joined MR & Associati Comunicazione, where she specialized in political communication and had the opportunity to work closely with the Press Office of the then President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano. Her professional focus over the next 10 years shifted to network outreach for international companies, online reputation management, and participation in crisis management processes. She joined Amapola in 2021, and together with her team, she supports companies in their reporting journey as well as projects in CSR, environmental communication, and local community relations.
Special features: Outside of work, she is lucky enough to share her life with a lively little girl, a multifaceted artist husband divided between microphones and stoves, and a fish named Jerry.

Elena Mancino
Partner and Commercial Director
She has been working in communications for over twenty years, and has been responsible for Amapola’s commercial development for four.
Experience: With a degree in Corporate Communication, she entered the professional world in 2002, managing media and PR strategies at an independent media center based in Turin. In 2004, she moved to the communications agency In Adv, where she coordinated the development of the PR and press office unit and oversaw the nascent events department. With the transformation into Italia Brand Group, she joined the Business Development team and was responsible for scouting, project management, and coordination of commercial development activities in the Milan offices.
From 2017 to 2019, she joined Yello, the Branding and Communication unit of EY Advisory, as a Senior Manager.
Always interested in combining communications and sustainability, she joined Amapola in 2019; in 2023, she became a partner.
Distinguishing features: Outside the office, she supports her two children, trains to care for ornamental plants and makes fabulous desserts.
Alberto Marzetta
Partner and Client Director
Consultant expert in integrated communications projects, sustainability, reporting, stakeholder and community engagement, and environmental education. Certified trainer specializing in facilitation techniques.
Experience: His career path encompasses experiences in communications agencies and consulting. Through his experience (MR & Associati, Aigo, Tesar Spa), he specializes in political and institutional communications, marketing and sales strategies, and stakeholder relations, and has extensive experience in the fields of tourism, IT, industrial automation, manufacturing, and social responsibility. In 2015, he explored sustainability, the environment, and CSR with his joining Amapola, the culmination of a personal journey of exploration that began in 2003 when he was a founding member of the Como District of Solidarity Economy and press office manager for several Botteghe del Mondo, in the Fair Trade sector. He designs communications strategies, media relations, and relationship and stakeholder management for international companies in the consumer goods, services, and utilities sectors.
Distinguishing features: Outside of work, Alberto runs. Primarily behind his son Bruno: a bundle of energy and smiles. Often on roads and trails, too: trail running has captivated him.

Francesca Schirillo
Trainer and facilitator
Trainer specializing in the use of experiential methodologies and facilitator of participatory processes.
Experience: She designs and leads facilitated events and training sessions, particularly in the specific areas of team building, participatory planning, strategic development, conflict and negativity management, time management, effective communication, and negotiation. She has collaborated for years with institutions, public bodies, and businesses, such as the Polytechnic University of Marche, Gruppo SGR Rimini, OPRAM – Regional Joint Organization for Marche Artisans for Workplace Safety, the Municipality of Castelfidardo, Confartigianato Ancona, and Cittadinanza Attiva.
Distinguishing Features: She enjoys bringing rhythm, dynamism, and creativity to her work, but also listening, caring for others, and the joy of being together.
Lina Franciosi
Administration manager
Administrative manager with client and personnel management responsibilities.
Experience: She began her career in 1990 in the administrative office of PDC Produzione di Comunicazione, where she remained for 8 years. From 1998 to 2002, she continued her work in administration and accounting at Italconsulting, Sesia, and Irisbus. From 2005 to 2007, she gained significant experience in the social work sector at the Val2 cooperative, which managed public green spaces and provided carpentry work inside the Lo Russo e Cutugno prison in Turin. In the following years, she resumed working with private companies. At the end of 2015, she returned to the communications world, which she had explored at the beginning of her professional career, becoming the accounting manager at Amapola.
Distinguishing features: Passionate about dance and meditation (not both), when she’s not working on accounts, she takes care of her family, supports charitable initiatives, and, whenever she can, organizes trips to unusual destinations.

Paola Compierchio
Executive administration
Accountant in the administration team, responsible for supplier and personnel management.
Experience: She began her career in the toy industry, joining Toys Garden, a toy import and export company, in 1989, where she stayed for over 20 years. In 2011, she joined Italia Independent, a leading eyewear company, working in the administration department, managing clients, in the credit office, and in support of the legal department. In 2022, she collaborated in administration with Fev Italia, an automotive engineering company that studies and develops sustainable technologies for future mobility. She took her full sustainability plunge in January 2023, joining the administration department at Amapola.
Distinguishing features: She loves music with an irremediable nostalgia for the 1980s. She keeps all the concert tickets she has attended from 1985 to the present in a box—a very large one, to be precise.
