From Silver to Platinum in just one year: Amapola has joined the top 1% of companies assessed worldwide, thanks to stronger internal policies and new monitoring and reporting tools.
A major leap forward in Amapola’s sustainability journey. The company has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, the highest recognition available within the international rating system, placing it among the top 1% of companies assessed globally.
The achievement is even more significant when viewed as part of our wider progress. After receiving the Bronze Medal in 2024 and Silver in 2025, this year we moved directly to Platinum, skipping the Gold level altogether.
More than an improvement in our score, this result reflects the work carried out to make our internal sustainability management system increasingly structured, measurable and transparent.
What EcoVadis assesses
EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading providers of business sustainability ratings. Its assessment examines how companies manage sustainability across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
For each area, EcoVadis analyses the policies established by the company, the actions and measures implemented, and the tools used to monitor and report on performance. The rating reviews stated commitments and, more importantly, assesses the organisation’s ability to embed them into its processes and provide evidence of their effective implementation.
From policies to measurable results
Following the Silver Medal awarded in 2025, we carried out an in-depth review of the assessment results and identified the areas requiring further attention.
Over the past year, we have strengthened our internal governance by updating and expanding corporate policies and by defining processes and responsibilities more clearly.
The most significant step forward, however, has been our ability to measure what we are doing. We introduced new monitoring KPIs, linked them to the measures already in place, and further consolidated our internal data collection and reporting system.
This development enables us to monitor the implementation of our policies more consistently, assess the results achieved and identify further opportunities for improvement. Sustainability thus becomes a continuous cycle in which objectives, actions, data and evaluation progressively inform the organisation’s decisions.

Living up to what we advise
For Amapola, which supports companies and organisations every day in defining ESG strategies, measuring performance and reporting on sustainability, managing its own impacts is first and foremost a matter of consistency with the guidance it provides to clients.
