Beyond water for the life and future of our community: Acquedotto Pugliese’s 2023 Report Integrated Report
In 2023, Acquedotto Pugliese (AQP) published its 2023 Report Integrated Report, together with the Integrated Report that summarizes its main points, with the support of Amapola. The document highlights the company’s commitment to environmental and social sustainability, with significant results such as the reduction of CO2 emissions by 175 thousand tons, the use of electricity from renewable sources for 40% of the total and the Certification for Gender Equality.
Founded in 1906, Acquedotto Pugliese is one of the main national players in integrated water cycle management and the largest Italian ATO in terms of extension. With over 1 million customers, 2,282 employees and a water network of over 20 thousand kilometers, AQP operates with a constant commitment to sustainability and the community in which it operates.
Amapola’s project
Amapola collaborated with Acquedotto Pugliese to create a Report that tells in a clear, transparent and engaging way the company’s commitment in the ESG field. The report was graphically designed to be accessible and clear, using tables, highlight pages and infographics that facilitate data understanding.
Amapola handled the entire creative project, from editing to layout, collaborating with AQP to devise the key messages and storyline thread, based on the concept of community. Moreover, we also handled the graphic aspects of the Apulian company’s Gender Report.
The collaboration continues for the communication campaign on offline and online media planned to spread the results and objectives of the 2023 Report. A further confirmation of Acquedotto Pugliese’s commitment to making sustainability common heritage and shared culture for all stakeholders.
The Smart Report
An innovative element of the project is the online Smart Report, an online mini-site to the reporting document, adopted for the first time by AQP and developed by Amapola in collaboration with BEWE. This innovative and inclusive solution expands the accessibility of the report, offering a complete and always updated view of the data, with the possibility of downloading the PDFs of the 2023 Report and the Integrated Report.
