Voices - Words Without Barriers
It is an Amapola series born in 2022 that aims to keep attention high on important social issues of our time, collecting stories and testimonies from those who experience them firsthand. Everything began following the dramatic Iranian events, the wave of protests and demonstrations that followed the death of Mahsa Amini in September 2022 and the brutal repression by the local government.
What can we do to support Iranian women and men in their demands? How can we show our support for the cause? In what way can we sustain it? These were our reflections.
We asked those who were directly involved. Persian friends answered us: by amplifying our voice.
