METLAC: quality industrial paints and commitment to sustainability
Founded in 1986 in Bosco Marengo (AL), METLAC is a company specialized at international level in the sector of paints and inks for metal packaging. With 40 years of experience, 4 group brands, over 70 thousand tons of paints produced annually and 240 highly qualified employees, METLAC has consolidated a solid reputation in the sector.
The company is distinguished by a strong commitment to environmental and social sustainability: it adopts technologies to reduce energy consumption, invests in the use of recycled materials, has activated a path to reduce CO2 emissions and water consumption. METLAC also carefully takes care of the social responsibility part, offering an ethical work environment and supporting community initiatives.
Amapola’s project
Amapola supported METLAC in the realization of the Sustainability Report 2023 the second edition for the company with the objective of creating a document capable of communicating clearly and accessibly the ESG commitments and results, responding to the transparency needs towards all stakeholders.
The activities carried out:

- Communication editing and translation. Amapola took care of the revision of the text provided by METLAC, using direct and fluid language that transmits the company values of innovation, responsibility and reliability. The English translation, in collaboration with our partner Dotwords, guaranteed the consistency of the message for the international audience.

- Summary version and translation Amapola also supported METLAC in developing a summary version of the Report that highlights the strategy, main results and key data, making the document even more usable for the stakeholder audience. This version was also translated into English for wider dissemination.
