FERA Group: a voluntary ESG path that looks to the future
The FERA Group Alternative Renewable Energy Factory has been active since 2001 in the renewable energy sector. Also in 2024 it chose transparency as a founding value, publishing the third voluntary sustainability report, with Amapola’s support in all strategic, operational and creative phases of the project.
The document represents a significant evolution compared to previous editions: while not subject to regulatory obligations, the 2024 report is inspired by the CSRD and adopts the new VSME (Voluntary Standard for Sustainability Reporting by SMEs) standards as reference. The materiality analysis was deepened thanks to new mapping, involvement of internal and external stakeholders and a first approach to financial impacts.
The journey was enriched by an internal ESG training session for Group people, held by the Amapola team, to spread sustainability culture and favor cross-cutting awareness.
The Amapola project
Amapola supported FERA Group throughout the entire project cycle:
- definition of reporting strategy
- updating the methodological model
- managing materiality analysis and stakeholder engagement
- data collection and systematization
- content writing
- graphic-visual design with attention to document accessibility
An integrated and progressive approach that consolidates the Group’s ESG identity and enhances its commitment to a responsible, shared and transparent energy future.
