DEI training to strengthen corporate culture
In 2024, Ecocerved, a consortium company of the Italian Chambers of Commerce system, collaborated with Amapola to undertake a targeted training path on DEI themes. The company specializes in developing information systems for environmental management, with thirty years of commitment supporting businesses and institutions. Sustainability has always been a pillar of its activities, through initiatives that combine circular economy, green economy and social innovation.
Through training activities in collaboration with Amapola, Ecocerved wanted to strengthen its corporate culture by deepening the themes of gender equality and diversity, on which it is already committed in its path towards gender equality certification UNI/PdR 125:2022. The initiative originated from the PASSI Committee Corporate path for integrated sustainable development an internal group formed by employees that promotes cultural change from the bottom up, through active listening and concrete proposals for responsible organizational growth.
The Amapola project for Ecocerved
The project, structured in a webinar and a laboratory session, touched on fundamental aspects such as gender equality principles, reference regulations and invisible barriers that hinder inclusion. During the practical phase, participants worked actively to identify and propose improvement solutions for company policies.
The result? An intervention that combined training, awareness and strategy to create an increasingly fair, respectful and collaborative work environment. The DEI training path allowed highlighting how inclusion and diversity are not only ethical values, but also fundamental tools for business success. The work done with Amapola is part of the dialogue and listening projects that the PASSI committee promotes to be the spokesperson for “bottom-up” proposals and initiatives to bring to General Management.
