Strengthening stakeholder dialogue: the project of a permanent multi-stakeholder table and the “riflessi” magazine
Bringing to life the 2045 Sustainability Plan of Acque Bresciane, the utility that manages the Integrated Water Service of the province of Brescia, involving the company’s strategic interlocutors: to reach this objective, Amapola activated a structured listening and stakeholder engagement path and conceived a new editorial project.
Permanent multi-stakeholder table: engaging stakeholders in creating new sustainability projects
Thus was born the project of a permanent multi-stakeholder table to involve the company’s strategic interlocutors in designing and creating new sustainability projects inserted in the broader framework of the 2045 Sustainability Plan, composed of 9 Objectives. At the tables representatives of institutions, schools and universities, associations, as well as exponents of the territory’s cultural and social panorama. Amapola supported Acque Bresciane in organizing and managing the discussion moments, coordinating them through the use of facilitation techniques designed to favor interaction and comparison among group members. The path will lead in 2022 to the realization of a project in line with Acque Bresciane’s strategic priorities. Amapola also created the coordinated image kit for all initiatives connected to the Table.
Riflessi, a tool to create culture on water and sustainability starting from Brescia
During World Water Day 2021, Acque Bresciane launched the new editorial project Riflessi. The magazine was designed as a tool to spread sustainability culture starting from the water theme and, from the territory and Brescia community, address the widest possible audience.
The new online editorial project, for which Amapola handled the graphic framework and a portion of content for each issue (4 planned in 2021), including a series of interviews obtained through targeted public relations activities, proposes current affairs insights, political and economic scenario analysis, scientific comments and, like every self-respecting magazine, does not disdain lifestyle hints, book reviews, event reviews.
In 2022, the Riflessi project grows and strengthens with the creation of a new online version. The magazine thus becomes a digital product, within everyone’s reach and designed for easy and accessible fruition, proof against any device. A further testimony of the Brescia utility’s commitment and “sustainable creed”, for which sustainability is business culture and common heritage to spread and support.
Sustainability, a business style for Acque Bresciane
“I am very happy with the strategic choices initiated by Acque Bresciane because they are testimony of how sustainability can become a business style when lived, and told, “while it happens” tells Alberto Marzetta, project manager. “The saying “bringing sustainability to life” finds confirmation both in the Working Table a courageous, open and transparent project that structures sustainable business reputation and in the Riflessi magazine which, while not dealing with news, structures a path of continuous relationship, of info-formative will where stakeholder opinions also find space and, in the background, the company’s sustainability projects”.
Following the approval of our “2045 sustainability plan Every drop counts”, with the formalization of our concrete commitments measurable year by year, we decided to involve the company’s strategic interlocutors more and promote a sustainability culture externally. The ambition of the “ABCommunity” Multi-Stakeholder Table is to start a participatory co-design, an important challenge that we are certain will bring important results for the territory. The Riflessi magazine, whose name recalls water mirrors but also the exercise of reason, tells Acque Bresciane’s innovative projects but with a much broader horizon: being a place of debate, offering knowledge insights, deepening current affairs themes. Transparency, listening and sustainability are values and keywords that we commit to concretizing daily. Francesco Esposto
