Training to combine sustainability and digital
Achab Group is a company specialized in environmental education. It develops projects and actions to sensitize students, young people and adults to environmental sustainability issues, particularly in the world of schools, at local public administrations and for multiutilities. It operates with its own offices in Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Piedmont and, through the affiliated Achab Med, in Southern Italy.
Amapola’s training intervention had the purpose of starting and supporting Achab’s “digital transition” and, at the same time, of enhancing the projects and reputation of the company, both towards its collaborators and partners, and with external stakeholders, starting from the media.
To achieve these objectives, Amapola activated an accompaniment path to modify the business culture in a “permanent narration” perspective. By generating a continuous and balanced flow of content, the conditions are built to “bring on board” one’s collaborators in communication/valorization practices and to open doors to the outside, stimulating stakeholder interest and spreading identity and skills.
Amapola’s training path, which began with a two-day kick off that took place in Monsummano Terme (PT) and involved all Achab people, therefore had both a strategic purpose business culture based on narration and an operational purpose spreading specific capacity on the use of communication tools, starting from digital ones. The operational affinities between Achab and Amapola and the common passion for sustainability facilitated the exchange of skills.
Amapola’s support continued in the field, offering specific support for drafting the digital editorial plan, for the elaboration of multimedia content, in community engagement activities, in campaign management on major social networks, in digital PR actions.
