Acea: strengthening capabilities and governance in stakeholder engagement
Between 2022 and 2025, Amapola supported Acea, one of Italy’s leading infrastructure operators, in strengthening its stakeholder engagement capabilities and governance. The project also focused on embedding shared methodologies, operational tools, practices and language to support the design and management of stakeholder dialogue initiatives.
During this period, our consultancy contributed, among other things, to the creation of an editorial plan for a dedicated section of the corporate intranet — a space intended for the entire company population — featuring insights into tools and approaches, benchmark cases, expert contributions and testimonials. The project also included webinars and workshops on methodology, operational tools, facilitation techniques and public speaking, as well as the update of Acea’s stakeholder tree to provide a more consistent, clearer and more effective representation of the company’s stakeholder map.
