Enhancing FITT’s 2021 Sustainability Report: the summary version

FITT SPA is an Italian company that is an international leader in the production of thermoplastic piping for fluid passages. The company is managed by the Mezzalira family who for over 50 years have carried forward high-quality production, with attention to the environment and protection of Planet resources. Sustainability is part of the company’s DNA, which since 2020 has also been reporting its CSR initiatives, projects and objectives in the Sustainability Report. The company expressed the need to enhance its 2021 report to make it an effective communication tool for:
    • Strengthening positioning and international reputation as a sustainability leader in its sector
    • Capitalizing on reporting as an opportunity for dialogue with internal and external stakeholders
Amapola handled the summary version of FITT’s 2021 Sustainability Report, making available its experience in ESG reporting to develop a tool useful for highlighting the company’s sustainable mission, giving ample space and scope to CSR initiatives launched by the company and enhancing the main results obtained.

The Amapola project

The agency, starting from studying the 2021 fiscal year document, handled the index and structure of FITT’s 2021 Sustainability Report summary version, text drafting, graphic line and creativity study and finally content layout. Amapola followed guidelines for content drafting:
    • Privileging storytelling: effective and simplified exposition of themes and data to favor reading and understanding.
    • Language choice: linear content exposed in a simple and fluid manner to transmit a sense of closeness and reliability.
    • Tone of voice choice: clear and direct, welcoming, to favor understanding by a broad audience.
In document layout, FITT’s distinctive colors were enhanced, following the company’s brand guidelines, to create a visual impact faithful to the company’s identity and engaging.
