The project for Consorzio A.Ri.C.A

The Consorzio A.Ri.C.A. represents a strategic reality for water resource management in Veneto: it manages the collection of waters from five treatment plants in Vicenza area to the Fratta river that treat, in addition to urban wastewater, also those from many industries in the tanning sector. The management includes a UV disinfection plant and an advanced remote control system to monitor flows in real time. In 2024 the Consortium started work for pipeline extension and connection of a sixth plant, a project that represents an important evolution of the system. With the objective of communicating its activities more effectively and strengthening dialogue with the territory, A.Ri.C.A. chose to continue the institutional communication and stakeholder engagement path started the previous year, relying on Amapola for strategic and operational support.

Amapola’s activities

Amapola made available to the Consortium its expertise in institutional communication and sustainability to respond to transparency and dialogue needs. The work focused on two main areas: strengthening the website, the organization’s main information channel, and consulting to manage relations with media and local stakeholders. The website intervention included analysis and simplification of structure and content, with the objective of improving user experience and making communication more accessible. Texts were revised for clarity and readability, while new multimedia content, such as infographics and interviews, was designed to enhance the Consortium’s technical and scientific quality. Additionally, Amapola developed a monthly editorial plan that provides regular publication of articles, columns and in-depth analysis. Parallel to this, a strategic plan for managing territorial relations was developed. Amapola supported the Consortium in institutional relations activities, providing consultancy to respond to stakeholder requests. The consultancy also included defining key messages and support in planning events and engagement activities.
