Our 60 years: Roquette Italia tells its story

In 2022 the Roquette Italia plant in Cassano Spinola celebrated its first 60 years with an event dedicated to management, employees and their families and with a publication, in Italian and English, that retraces the factory’s history. The site is one of the most important industrial settlements in the province of Alessandria, as well as the second largest in the world of the French multinational leader in plant-based ingredient production, and over the years has been able to weave lasting and positive relationships with local stakeholders, confirming itself over time as a real reference point for many generations.

The publication celebrating this important milestone tells the plant’s story  a story of innovation and sustainability, of value generated and shared, of constant relationship and dialogue with the territory and community  starting from the narrative of Roquette Italia’s identity pillars, retracing the factory’s growth phases up to opening a window on future perspectives, inspired by the principles of sustainable and circular development.

The Amapola project

Amapola handled the publication integrally, supporting the company from the first project phases. The narrative winds through the decades, from the Sixties to today, and each chapter is opened by a historical contextualization page that retraces the decade’s main international events. The narrative, with a warm and simple tone, guides the reader through the plant’s history, among period images, interviews with Roquette people and testimonies from key figures of the territory where the company operates. A choice that gives depth to the editorial project, alternating two reading levels and “shortening distances” through the faces, voices and testimonies of protagonists.

The graphic-visual project, which carefully takes up the Roquette brand identity palette, gives life to an elegant and refined editorial product, embellished by the golds of titles and graphic elements and by an airy and light layout.
