Inspired by sustainability, guided by beauty: Pettenon Cosmetics’ responsible action
Pettenon Cosmetics is an Italian company specialized in Professional Hair & Skin Care, active for 75 years in Italy and abroad and present today in 100 countries. In 2021 it officially became a Benefit Company concretizing, through this legal form, its commitment to operate responsibly, sustainably and transparently to generate a positive impact towards people, communities, territories and environment. In 2022, the company decided to report its sustainable action through the first Sustainability Report, a document that also contains the annual Impact Report related to pursuing common benefits required of Benefit Companies.
Amapola’s project for Pettenon Cosmetics’ 2021 Sustainability Report and Impact Report
Amapola supported the company in its reporting journey handling the graphic-creative project and some communication tools to spread the document’s contents and make them accessible to all stakeholders.
The Report’s graphics, characterized by pastel colors and sinuous lines, focuses on content readability and expository clarity. The narrative is accompanied by images, thematic focuses, highlights with significant 2021 data and tables that make document fruition simpler. The impact areas related to common benefit activities are referenced with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identified by the UN, a device that allows framing Pettenon Cosmetics’ action in the broader international context.
The agency also handled some communication tools that further expand the Report’s target audience making its contents more accessible: a summary in poster and video format and a banner.
