Environmental communication: a step-by-step process – The “Quaderni del Salone” notebooks
The fourth publication in the “Quaderni del Salone” series of notebooks examines the complexities, difficulties, tools and opportunities of environmental communication.
We had the pleasure of joining the CSR and Social Innovation Show in drafting the fourth volume in the “Quaderni del Salone” series on the theme of environmental communication.
The notebook explores an issue with a growing impact on public debate, while attempting to keep it separate from the distracting background noise of the mainstream. Rather than provide magic solutions or pre-packaged formulas, the volume illustrates complexities and difficulties, the rediscovery of communication as a means of sharing meanings and values and the central importance of dialogue. It also provides tips on books, movies, songs and podcasts that provide pointers to make environmental communication a widespread culture.
With contributions from Stefano Martello, Sergio Vazzoler, Micol Burighel, Rossella Sobrero, Fabio Iraldo, Giulia Armuzzi, Massimiliano Pontillo as well as corporate voices with Matteo Colle from the CAP Group, Samanta Correale and Carolina Gomez from GS1 Italy, Alessandro Broglia from Up2You.
The “Quaderni del Salone” collection
One of the new developments at the 2023 CSR and Social Innovation Show is the “Quaderni del Salone” collection of notebooks.
The notebooks are practical tools offering theoretical reflections on the dynamics involved in the ecological transition and the experiences of organisations that have turned sustainability into a strategic driver. Each volume provides comments from specialists and young people together with contributions from companies. The issues covered are impact assessment, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion challenges, the agrifood sector, and environmental communication.
