Territorial Engagement: Amapola’s Project for Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo

Two events in Turin and Genoa strengthened the participation of sports and environmental associations in the “Sportivi per Natura” grant program.
To promote the latest edition of Sportivi per Natura. Circular well-being through nature, movement, and healthy living, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo invested in an innovative territorial engagement strategy, entrusting its design and management to Amapola. Two events in Turin and Genoa became key moments for interaction and training, encouraging participation from sports and environmental associations while fostering new collaborations.
A targeted strategy for effective engagement
Amapola built the project from the ground up, starting with an in-depth mapping of associations across Piedmont, Liguria, and Valle d’Aosta. This effort led to the creation of a database of over 5,000 organizations, allowing for a highly targeted communication strategy that maximized outreach and engaged the most relevant stakeholders.
A format designed to create value
With over 260 attendees and fully booked sessions, the events were structured to offer an interactive and hands-on experience. After a plenary session introducing the grant program, participants joined training workshops on project management and collaborative processes, while a dedicated technical help desk provided personalized support. Networking was another key element, with dedicated spaces designed to facilitate strategic partnerships among associations.
Storytelling and multimedia content to amplify the message
Amapola also oversaw the production of the event’s opening video, handling everything from storyboard design to directing and post-production. To reinforce the message, the initiative featured Tania Cagnotto, world champion diver, who shared her personal connection with sports and nature in a conversation with Alberto Anfossi, Secretary General of the Foundation.
Through this project, Amapola leveraged a diverse set of skills, from stakeholder engagement to event organization, training, and multimedia content production. A concrete demonstration that sustainability starts with people and communities.
