Gruppo Ecorav, il primo Bilancio di sostenibilità

First Sustainability Report, a Stakeholder Event, and an Inclusive Manifesto: A Collaboration That Strengthens Corporate Culture and Transparency.

GRUPPO ECORAV, a leader in integrated waste management and resource regeneration, has chosen Amapola as its partner to embark on a structured path toward sustainability and inclusion. Our consultancy focused on three pillars: drafting the first Sustainability Report, presenting the results at a dedicated stakeholder event on December 6 in Belluno, with the participation of experts and institutions, and creating a Manifesto for Inclusive Language.

A Company Focused on the Environment and People

Founded in 2005 through the integration of ECORA S.p.A. and NITROL VENETA, ECO.RA.V. is now a group with over 100 employees and two proprietary plants for industrial waste treatment. With a strong focus on innovation and the circular economy, GRUPPO ECORAV has achieved significant recognition, including being named one of the most climate-conscious companies in 2023 by Corriere della Sera and Statista, and receiving the Platinum Medal from Ecovadis for its ESG performance.

A Reporting Process That Reinforces Transparency

With Amapola’s support, the Group has initiated its first voluntary reporting process to strengthen a culture of sustainability and ensure transparency in its dialogue with stakeholders. The 2023 Sustainability Report was developed according to the latest GRI standards and aligned with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), laying the foundation for clear and measurable communication of environmental, social, and governance results.

The reporting process began with a robust assessment, followed by a materiality analysis that also incorporated financial materiality alongside impact materiality to identify the company’s priority topics and those of its stakeholders. In the direct engagement phase, management participated in workshops, and other strategic interlocutors were involved via a survey. Amapola supported the company in defining KPIs, collecting data, and analyzing ESG results. We also handled the drafting of the texts and the visual design of the report, creating a layout that enhances readability and accessibility.

The Value of Reporting

“Launching a comprehensive and structured reporting process, as ECORAV has done, adds value not only to environmental and social results but also to transparency and stakeholder engagement,” comments Giulia Devani, Head of Amapola’s Reporting Division. “A well-crafted report allows companies to measure and grow strategically, improving processes, building concrete connections, and fostering trust within the communities they operate.”

Inclusive Language and Equity: A Manifesto for Corporate Communication

In addition to reporting, ECORAV, in collaboration with Amapola, developed a Manifesto for Inclusive Language, an integral part of its sustainability strategy. This tool aims to promote an inclusive corporate culture attentive to equity, in line with the Group’s values and its tangible commitment to these issues. This commitment is further evidenced by the recent achievement of gender equality certification by the company.
