This year once again we took part in the TOP.ESG Consultants guide edited by ET.Group. With a pleasant surprise: Amapola is listed as one of Italy’s top ESG consultancies, a ranking that confirms the value of our strategic approach. Among the 123 companies who took part in the guide, we are in the select group of TOP PERFORMERS. The result fills us with pride and endorses the decisions taken in the last few years to consolidate our positioning on the sustainability consultancy market.
The Top ESG guide
The guide assesses the consultancies who took part in terms of governance, offer consistency and ability to manage the transition journeys of their clients, and is an important observatory on the transformation underway in the ESG consultancy business: as sustainability takes on an increasingly central role in corporate strategy, the competences and approaches of the partners accompanying organisations through the transition also change and evolve.
The guide provides a dynamic picture: the companies it maps range from technical and compliance issues to communication and risk management, energy efficiency, ratings, ESG data collection software, management of the value chain. A true reflection of the complexity and importance of sustainability today.
What the recognition means for us
The TOP PERFORMER label, says ET.Group, “attests to the consultant’s ability to work on three fronts (consistency, commitment, vision) and indicates that it has initiated a serious ESG-oriented transformation and evolution of its identity.” What does this mean for us?
For Amapola, being a TOP PERFORMER is confirmation of our journey, the road we set out on more than 15 years ago, whose origins can be traced even further back. We can proudly say that we believed in sustainability well before it became mainstream, and are one of the longest-standing of the 123 companies in the sample.
The recognition from ET.Group also tells us that we have to continue cultivating our ability to listen: to the market, to clients, to our territorial network, to our competitors. We have a varied offer which we will continue to expand: it is essential to keep up to date, to improve engagement techniques, to invest in training and in our people’s skills.
Because, as we always say, sustainability has to be made a living concept to ensure that it is authentic, effective and shared. This is how we manage it on our journey and work with our clients on theirs.
