A framework agreement for strategic and reporting activities to maximise the Group’s responsible approach.

Dimensione Ambiente, Italy’s leading provider of environmental and waste management and disposal services, has signed a strategic partnership with Amapola. The result is a framework agreement for 2024-2025 covering the development of an institutional communication plan and the start-up of a sustainability reporting program.

About Dimensione Ambiente

Dimensione Ambiente is a company in the Capra Group with ten affiliates and offices in Tuscany, Piedmont and Lombardy. It operates in the waste business throughout Italy and beyond, providing an integrated service for the disposal and recovery of hazardous and non-hazardous special waste. Today, the Dimensione Ambiente Group has 140 employees and its 4 subsidiaries and the parent report overall revenues of 160 million euro. As a long-time player in waste management, over the years the company has developed a series of environmental activities, as well as social projects and initiatives to support the territory and local communities.

Amapola consultancy services

Our consultancy services have two main objectives. One, to raise the profile of the Group and its companies by providing clear accessible information about their strategies through an institutional communication strategy using new channels and tools. Two, to link Dimensione Ambiente’s corporate identity and ESG positioning by highlighting its sustainability goals, results and commitments in the first Group sustainability report.

“As part of our Group’s development and value-creation plan, the role of communication is vitally important and must be geared to maximum transparency and clarity,” comments Dimensione Ambiente General Manager Umberto Cucchetti. “The sustainability report gives us a sustainability-based vision of our operations and enables us to engage with our stakeholders, providing them with information about our progress and results and investigating their expectations and needs.”

After an initial communication and sustainability assessment, our project for Dimensione Ambiente envisages the updating of the institutional website with new content and a new format to consolidate the organisation’s reputation and leverage its identity and history. We shall also design and draft the first voluntary sustainability report to present its values, data, production assets and business strategy from an ESG perspective. Lastly, we will provide the Group with public and media relations support to raise its visibility and develop an open, transparent dialogue with communities and the territory.

Sustainability in waste management

“Waste management is a cornerstone of the ecological transition, a vital element to ensure that we really do ‘close the circle’ of the circular economy,” comments Amapola partner Sergio Vazzoler. “It is essential that companies in the circular economy know how to explain clearly how their corporate processes are gradually becoming more attentive and responsible, in part by making use of sustainability reporting. Measuring and providing data on their ESG commitment is a crucial step to check their internal processes, look strategically at their business operations and share important information with stakeholders about projects that involve them.”
