Gruppo CAP chooses Amapola ESG video modules for in-house training
Agile digital content available online to promote sustainability skills throughout the Group.
For Gruppo CAP, the water monoutility in the Milan metropolitan area, knowledge-sharing and promotion of a free learning culture are cornerstones of people empowerment. This means activating an internal training program on ESG issues for its entire workforce. The goal is to develop the internal culture on key sustainability questions, starting from the «basics», by raising people’s awareness about the company’s commitment to sustainability. The Group has chosen Amapola and its Library of ESG video modules to organise the project.
Why internal sustainability training is important
When an organisation extends training on ESG issues to all its people, action can be taken at every level, giving solidity and consistency to the sustainability journey. On one hand, the skills and know-how of the people who constitute the organisation’s daily life are consolidated and a common culture is fostered, strengthening the foundations of sustainability. On the other hand, employer branding is reinforced, as people become more aware of the context in which the company operates and take pride in being part of a responsible business project with concrete goals.
This is the thinking behind the Amapola training offer, which takes a two-step approach: training with online video modules that can be used in self-tutoring mode, and verification of skills acquired through short interactive questionnaires.
Starting from the needs of Gruppo CAP, the agency developed an ad hoc program, based on a selection of modules from the Amapola catalogue, with Italian captions and personalised graphics, organised in 3 sessions (Development and context of the sustainability concept, CSR and business organisations, Practical sustainability).
The Amapola ESG video module library
The Amapola catalogue consists of 30 video training modules on sustainability issues, subdivided into three groups covering introductory concepts, environmental questions and social questions. Each module develops a key sustainability issue through linear content and simple, direct language, as a tool everyone can access. The various themes are examined by an expert from the Amapola team, with key words and video graphics. Each module ends with a short interactive questionnaire for the learner to check their understanding of the concepts illustrated by the content.
